Apparently when The Brothers Strause first screened of the director's cut of AVPR the Fox executives threw a fit and insisted on reshooting an alternate ending. The script sums up the original ending in this way.The last surviving predator challenges the last surviving alien to a game of Ms Pac-Man. Walter Day and Billy Mitchell stand watch as impartial referees. Let the end game begin.
